Deon Ellis is one of Ellis Real Estate’s dynamic real estate agents (Pty) Ltd and has been in the industry since 2014. Prior to becoming a real estate agent he was the owner of 4 retail businesses for 12 years, worked for Civil Aviation and Airports Company SA (ACSA) as both client manager at OR Tambo and Airport Manager in East London. He successfully oversaw a few big projects for ACSA as project manager.

Deon is an avid sports fan, with rugby and cricket being his favourites, although he watches just about any sports programme broadcasted. Deon played school and club rugby in the 70’s.

Deon is a father of three, 2 in-law children and grandfather of 3 (2 girls and one boy), whom he loves dearly. He loves long walks on the beach, photography, visits to the Kruger Park, good food and travelling, which he has done quite extensively. Deon loves watching National Geographic, nature and reality programmes, is a Bible scholar and closely follows American politics & important events. He enjoys socializing with family & friends.

Deon is very analytical, thinking things through, revisiting matters until he is satisfied, he has the right answer. He is assertive, a no-nonsense person and a driver by nature. He loves trading and negotiating is one of his strong suits.

Deon partners with his wife, Liane Ellis. Together they live the agency’s motto, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act, but a habit – Aristotle”
